My visit with Jeanette was awful. The complete lack of empathy from someone who is supposed to be helping people was shocking. She was late and unprepared for my appointment time. She looked over my paperwork and notices I'm a libra and starts going off about how she hates libras. I asked for a tissue and was told she doesn't have any because "her patients aren't allowed to cry". She spent half the time just talking to her intern (she didn't even tell me in advance there would be another person present, which was uncomfortable for me). This was my first ever therapy appointment, and she knew that. Absolutely traumatizing experience.

I love her direct approach to my situation. During my initial visit, I filled out her intake form, she reviewed it and asked me a few questions, then gave me her initial run down of how I was feeling across the board. It was like she was looking into my soul. I felt such relief and a weight lifted off of my shoulders because it felt like she truly understood me and what I was and am going through. I’m looking forward to all of my visits with her.
