Jeffrey Brenneman, LCSW

I got treatment here for about 4 3/4 years. I came here after not having success with two other therapists. Jeff stuck with me through a difficult couple of years until things really started clicking for us. The rest of the LIfework team was also great--they gave Jeff ideas and encouragement, and provided support to me while Jeff was on vacation. Stephanie Lessmeier saw me for two sessions and was easy to work with right away. I got to where I no longer felt the need for such intensive support and have started seeing a different provider closer to where I live. This was the first termination of therapy in my life where it was my decision and I did it when I felt ready. Many thanks to Jeff and Lifework for their patience and willingness to try different things, and for allowing me to have this experience!

I am truly unsure why his rating is so low. Jeff Brenneman truly saved my life, and gave me the care I needed after trial and error with many therapists and programs. I came to Jeff completely hopeless, but with his care, found a way to live again. Jeff was skilled, kind, flexible, and truly cared about my well-being. Jeff would go above and beyond to ensure I was receiving the care I needed, including doing 2+ individual appointments a week if needed, coordinating with my psychiatrist, and being available in crisis situations. He gave me the tools I needed to live again, and for that I will be forever thankful. highly recommend to anyone and everyone, especially those who have exhausted a lot of options and are beginning to feel hopeless.

I cannot say enough good things about Jeff Brenneman. He has helped my teenage daughter through anxiety and depression. He is very thoughtful, kind, and has an amazing knack of reframing things for my daughter. I really don't what we would have done without Jeff's wise words and counseling.
