Couldn't get an RX that I could see out of. I went to Walmart and had a wonderful exam and RX.

If you are a patient w/ the intellect that has many questions, I strongly recommend avoiding this VERY RUDE office - with the staff first and the doctor himself next included.

Dr. Collins is a great eye doctor. I have gone to him for years. His office staff leaves a lot to be desired though. At my most recent appointment the young lady had me take out my contacts and then put on glasses to do a depth perception type of test. My prescription is so high I couldn't even see it! There are also problems with billing insurance which I then have to deal with for months afterwards. These past 3 years I have had problems with my insurance because of paperwork not being submitted correctly. I never had any problems before with the old office staff which did a complete turnover about 3-4 years ago. This new office staff seems to not know what they are doing and lack adequate training. I have no problem with Dr. Collins or any of the procedures/tests but if you go here beware that the office staff will cause headaches with their incompetence. I have gone to him for over 20 years and am considering a new eye doctor over the problems with his office staff.

I have been going here since I was a kid and in fact my whole family goes here. We have always had nothing but great service and very friendly people. I got contacts there and never wore them before and they was very helpful in helping me put them in.

Worst eye exam I have ever had!! Receptionist behind the desk was rude, unfriendly, extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. My exam that should have been a 10.00 co pay turned into a 90.00 payment!! I was given "tests" I did not ask for, I did not authorize, I didn't want or need. When I asked why I wasn't informed these "tests" were not part of my annual exam, I was not given an answer. I was told I should have stopped them from doing these tests I had no idea what they were. Scam!! Cheaters!

Was charged an extra $40.00 for an exam I did not ask for. The opthomologist charges only my co-pay. Also he never gives you your prescription, you have to ask for Then if you call, you have to go back and pick it up . They will not email it to you. They will email it to wherever you are getting you glasses made. For persons that do not realize that that ploy is to get your glasses made thru hiis office.
