My husband and I joined Upstream Functional Medicine in April 2021. We have both had extraordinary results. The weightloss of 25 lbs each was the easy part, but more importantly my husband cut his type 2 diabetes medications by 3/4. He was prediabetic by the end of the program. We have both remained with UFM as Alumni to make sure that we maintain these excellent results.

I’m a 25-year-old woman, and I went into Upstream Functional Medicine feeling that my overall health was going downhill. Not only did I find out what was going on, but after just three months in this program, I feel amazing and I now know what to do to continue to feel that way! I would definitely recommend this program!

I went to one of the free seminars he does. The title on the postcard ad was " Stress, Hormones, & Health". The description stated, "You will learn how Hormone Imbalances can affect your sleep cycles, carbohydrate cravings, energy, and fat burning..." etc etc. Sadly, the seminar was strictly convincing us why Functional Medicine is the way to go (which I was already on board with), and at the end they wanted to set up appointments to see him without telling us the cost after the initial discounted visit. When someone asked what his programs cost, they said each program is individualized to the person so it was impossible to say. But what about the cost of an appointment, how many visits per month on average, would there be supplements? Felt very cagey and deceptive. I get what they're saying, but come on - not even what a visit costs? Sorry, but if they can't be upfront, I can't trust them. I need to know what the potential cost would be before I step into their office.

Nurse Practitioner Jeffrey Hunter is a very knowledgeable provider. He is kind, attentive, and you can tell he really cares. I like him very much, enough to follow him to his new practice. It is no surprise he left UCHealth, as it was not the best representation of his kindness or passion for treating with functional medicine (treating the underline cause of symptoms or disease, rather than treating each symptom individually.

This office has gone down hill. Very rude and uncaring. Jeff Hunter has become arrogant and no longer concerned with treating the whole patient. He is more concerned with the business aspect rather than patient care. I was scheduled at 1:00 and arrived at the desk at 1:03 and they refused to see me said I was late. I had a traffic issue that put me a few minutes behind sorry I'm not perfect but I left baffled but confused. There isn't enough space to tell whole story but the rude officestaff bad

This practice maintains it's community feel even after becoming part of the US Health organization and for my family that has been due in part to Mr. Hunter and his care. He takes the time to review many things in your history that could give him a better understanding of your health needs and possible treatments. This practice has a history of having providers who are well educated in traditional medicine as well as non-traditional (herbal, ayurvedic, homeopathic) and that is rare.

Worst office staff ever. The lack of compassion is striking. Was 5 minutes late to my appointment and they would not see me even though the waiting room was empty. They re interested only in patient turn over as to make as much profit. Shockingly poor care. The UC health badge is a hoax... find another office where they actually value the "whole person" rather than just saying they do.
