Telehealth
Jeffrey is a competent and thoughtful prescriber. He consistently provides clear explanations for his medication choices and any adjustments he recommends, which is greatly appreciated. His clinical demeanor could use some improvement. He has extensive psychoanalytic training, but you'd never know it. His therapeutic manner sometimes feels void of humanity, which detracts from the overall patient experience. He can come across as aloof and distracted during appointments, which can make interactions feel jarring and impersonal. Jeffrey excels in his role as a prescriber, enhancing his interpersonal skills would significantly improve his clinical practice. He certainly does not cause harm.

Overprescribed me medications and caused me to go manic from said medications. Called me out during our appointment for my physical appearance changes when I was in full-blown mania. Obviously, this did not help the situation. After receiving proper medical treatment I never went back. Got bad vibes from this guy anyway.

I appreciate he’s not a dinosaur or completely out of touch but what he offers in modernity, he lacks in empathy. Additionally, his self-serving run-on monologues take up the majority of his already brief sessions.

I highly recommend Jeffrey! He is a very good Psychiatrist, I was struggling with eating disorders and anxiety, going to therapy and having good medications, help me a lot to overcome, Jeff is a good therapist that listens to you and understand the issues and treat you in the best way! I was so happy to be his patient and be in his hands! Right now, I would say that my recovery is 100 percent of the grade of professionalism that he has! The best ever! Thank you, Jeff! You did an amazing job in the way of my recovery.

DO NOT PROVIDE HIM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD. I rescheduled an initial appointment, but I came down with the flu and needed to reschedule it again. Despite 24 hour notice of need to reschedule BECAUSE I HAVE THE FLU, he wouldn't reschedule and told me he runs a small business and needs to charge me $350 to my credit card. I have insurance, yet, he charged my credit card, which I've disputed. I guess the Hippocratic Oath is something he's never read. He's closer to a Shylock. No treatment, a lot of forms completed, no submission of a bill to my insurance company, but, a credit card charge to me. He's in the wrong field. An alleged medical provider, not concerned with your actual health. He should be in the collections business.

I have been struggling with finding a good therapist off and on for 15 years. Jeff is the only person I’ve ever seen who makes me feel heard and in the 4 months I’ve been seeing him I am having a much easier time rationalizing my anxious and depressed thoughts in a way no one else has helped me see them before. He has been trying to help me address and deal with my problems and traumas before prescribing which at first I was unsure of as I was in a very bad place but he has helped me overcome a lot of it and without medication which I didn’t think was possible. I cannot recommend him enough. He truly seems to care about his patients. Hands down the best therapist I’ve ever seen.

I haven't had much luck in finding a mental health provider in the past. From my first appointment with Lucero I felt at ease and the following appointments I felt that he had gained my trust. Something that was lacking with past experiences. Jumping around (along with providers who rushed and/or did not listen to me in appointments) made it difficult to maintain a sense of trust with them. He has helped me tremendously and grateful. My view of providers has changed with NP Lucero. THANK YOU!
