Jennifer Aiken, FNP-BC

I was billed for out-of-network services when at the time of the service Jennifer Aiken, FNP-BC was a in-network Nurse Practitioner with my insurance. Upon review, her office stated this was a clerical error between their office and my insurance company and this bill should have been billed as in-network. I was also told that I would need to figure out how to remedy it with my insurance myself and that her office would not contact my insurance provider to explain the error. Even though her office knew Jennifer Aiken, FNP-BC was in-network for me at the time of service, instead of contacting the insurance provider to fix the error, they sent the bill to collections. The does not reflect on her ability as a nurse, but does reflect on her overall service and her offices commitment to providing accurate service to their patients.
