Jennifer Cathcart, WHNP

Jennifer has helped me over the past three years with infertility, three miscarriages, and two healthy pregnancy. Through all the different phases she made me feel comfortable and heard. I liked that she always gave me straight-to-the-point answers, listen to my concerns, and never made me feel rushed. Even though our hearts were broken leaving the office so many times, she always made us feel well informed and cared for. It was so exciting when we had our first daughter and Jennifer was rejoicing with us.

After reading the other reviews, I felt compelled to leave one myself. I’ve been going to Jennifer for a very long time and will follow her to her next practice. While her personality may not be the fit for everyone, it’s what I love about her. She’s a straight shooter, completely competent and has never steered me wrong. She listens to any issues and effectively helps resolve. I greatly appreciate her no nonsense style. My husband attended every exam with me when pregnant. At first he was put off, but quickly came to appreciate and value her style too. She kept us focused, reassured and demonstrated empathy and understanding throughout.

She’s definitely in the wrong field. If you want to be charged for someone to gaslight you, not listen to your concerns or talk down on you like you don’t know anything but at the same time not know enough herself to answer your questions, she’s your guy. The only reason this woman is still practicing is because most people don’t have the time or energy to file formal complaints with the board of registered nursing and she’s aware of that which is why she’s allowing herself to act the way she does. If you need to see her more than once for anything other than a yearly exam I would suggest you either record your conversations with her or write everything down as soon as you walk out because the most overused gaslighting phrases are a part of her main vocabulary. “I never said that” “I’ve been doing this a long time, so I know what I’m doing” (if it wasn’t clear by now, she doesn’t know, and she should not be allowed to practice medicine)

There is a reason this NP only has 2.8 stars, hands down the absolute worse career you could be in. I have suffered with an infection for months because of her lack of knowledge in the field. Google knows more than she does. Lack of people skills as well. I highly recommend stirring clear of her and her unprofessionalism. Have been dealing with this issue since December it is now March and it got left untreated for so long the antibiotics are not even working!!! There is one star ONLY because I can’t give 0.

I have seen Jennifer the last few years for my yearly and I find her to be the nicest person. She's friendly, down to earth and extremely easy to talk to. I highly recommend her! Definitely very puzzled over the negative reviews.

She gives an extremely negative vibe. She acts very judgmental rather than helpful. She doesn't even know how to smile. I've had amazing experiences with other offices but because of her, I most likely will not return to the office that employs her.

The first time I went to see Jennifer I thought that she was very straight forward and blunt and at first I wasn’t sure I appreciated that.. until it was time for me to come back and I only want to see Jennifer. Ever. She tells you how it is and answers all my questions, even the silly ones. And some people may say she dismisses them but I believe she tells you the truth because I know I’m a hypochondriac and if she says there’s nothing wrong or no concern, then I believe her. I’ve heard her make jokes, laugh, and think she’s great. I only feel comfortable with her and don’t feel silly asking questions or expressing concerns with her.

Jennifer is definitely in the wrong career. My 20 year old daughter has been going to Premier OBGYN for a few years now and for last year or so seems to end up being scheduled with Jennifer. It is always a horrible experience. She completely dismisses everything my daughter complains about, continues on the same course of treatment even though it is not working. She ALWAYS screws up the billing process so that services are not covered by insurance and we have to fight with everyone to fix it. We now specifically request an appointment with Dr. Erk. We may have to wait another month or so to get in but at least my daughter gets the care she deserves. The OB is a tough situation for a young woman to deal with and to have such unsatisfactory services makes it even tougher.

I have seen Jennifer Cathcart two different times for my annual exam. I found her to be kind, gentle, friendly, and genuinely interested in my questions and concerns. She offered advice in a highly professional manner. I've been very happy with her.

Jennifer Cathcart is incompetent, mean and unprofessional. She should NOT be in the medical field, let alone working with people. Love the doctors but will be leaving the practice due to Jennifer incompetence, nastiness and unprofessional behavior. I’m sure they lose more patients to Jennifer.

So VERY unprofessional!!!! I believe she needs to find a new career. She is very rude.

I brought my young daughter to see Jennifer and she was excellent. My daughter was 14 and she made her feel at easy and was very caring and professional.

I would not recommend seeing this NP. She is extremely unprofessional and abrasive. No bedside manner. She has no experience with teenage girls with female issues and she stated to my husband that she doesn't usually have patients this young. She dismissed my husbands concerns and my daughters concerns and stated several times that she needs hormones. We were looking to explore all options before starting our 14 year old on birth control. Very disappointed. Will not return.

Love the doctors and can’t believe they employ Jennifer. Jennifer is very abrasive, unprofessional and should not be working in the medical field. She has no compassion and is not knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Jennifer. She takes time to answer questions and address any concerns. She makes you feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable. Great bedside manner!
