Jennifer Huse accepted me as a new client and set up a 1st appointment. When I contacted her to fill out new client paperwork she did not respond. I showed up to our first appointment as scheduled and she did not show up, nor did she answer my phone calls after the missed appointment. This is awful behavior for a professional who is supposed to be helping people with their mental health.

AVOID. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Cancelled our FIRST EVER appointment due to a “family tragedy” (that I see now in other reviews. is a typical excuse for this woman). Promised to reach out to reschedule, never did. I gave her 4 days before I finally reached out to reschedule myself. Completely ignored my messages! Absolutely no communication since the cancellation. Someone like this should not be working in a mental health field!!!

I connected with Jennifer Huse in Patchogue, NY. Upon meeting her, and having my very first session ever I was ready to begin a new journey. I felt comfortable, with Jennifer and I felt like I could connect with her. I was able to open up to Jennifer, and vent, talk about things that were bothering me and I even almost cried which I ALWAYS TRY NOT TO DO in front of anyone; EVER. The only negative thing is our scheduled appointments- every other appointment was canceled by Jennifer as she had a “tragedy” or “something came up”. Out of 8 scheduled sessions, I only had 3. As much as I wanted to move forward with this new journey, I had to express my frustrations and let her know that I need someone more reliable- I never heard from her since. I am very empathetic, and understand things come up but to have every other session canceled was extremely disheartening especially when in a time of need; guidance and someone (a professional) to talk to.
