Dr. Jennifer Mercer, MSN

I was scheduled for Annual Pap/medication follow up with refills with Jennifer Mercer while my provider was out. I didn’t feel she earned my trust. Her approach wasn’t with current health plan, which led me to believe she disagreed with her partners. She was very professional in my “physical” exam (she completed her check list). Listened enough to respond with generic routing since “outside the wheel house of obstetrics”. I see a GYN for routine paps (h/o cervical cancer) and for hormonal imbalances. Unfortunately, Jennifer was outside her wheel house of obstetrics. She was a midwife seeing a peri-menopausal middle aged female. My review is intended to be informational NOT slanderous. Dr Childs and his FNP Kay Medford (excellent providers) who listen/treat menopausal symptoms accordingly have earned my trust. They’ve kept me sane/ functional & understand a “well woman” unfortunately I didn’t see this in my exam with Jennifer.
