Jennifer is compassionate, proactive, and thoughtful. I always look forward to seeing her! The understanding, advice, and help she provides is extremely valuable to me and I can’t imagine where I’d be without all that she’s taught me. I feel equipped to handle the world each week after seeing her. From an EMDR standpoint, I can’t imagine going through this kind of therapy with anyone else. Jennifer is knowledgeable and caring throughout the entire process, and I always feel as though I’m in a secure space to process things with her. She is wonderful and I am so thankful for the impact she’s made in my life, as well as the ways she’s helped me become an active participant in my growth!

I tried a few other therapists before seeing Jennifer, and they were fine but I still felt like they weren't a great fit. With Jennifer, I can sincerely say that I have found the provider for me. She is compassionate and reassuring when I need her to be, and also honest and firm when that is what I need. Most importantly, she is always kind and non-judgmental. With previous providers, it was difficult for me to completely open up. In the years that I have worked through my past trauma with Jennifer, I can honestly say I've opened up more than ever and have a better understanding of myself. She has also taught me tools for dealing with my depression and anxiety. I don't know where I'd be without her help. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a therapist.

Very poor counseling, dismissive and repetitive. Felt uncomfortable and generally like she was in it for the money and not healing.

I've gone to a number of therapists over the years and wound up leaving after the first or second session. I doubted that I would ever find one that I could trust or one who could help me until I met Jennifer. She's not just an outstanding therapist....she's an amazing human being full of kindness and compassionate. A few months ago I was pushed into the darkest place I've ever known in my life and she is shining a light into the darkness and helping me find my way home.

Jennifer is kind, smart, insightful, compassionate and challenging.

She is professional, caring, concerned and I developed a trust factor with her. After developing a relationship with her she explained EMDR to me and ask if I were willing to try. She allowed me time I needed to make a decision. It was hard work, but I trusted Jennifer and believed she wouldn't let anything bad happen to me. If I was going to far back to the abused child; she aided in bringing me back to the present. The more I work with her the more trust I develop.

Ms. Upchurch takes Medicare and ,as it turns out, she is a great counselor and close by.
