Jen taught me more about myself than any of my 5 other therapists I've had over the years. She spotted every behavior and thought process related to my attachment style and wounds, and knew how to prepare me for EMDR (I was a tough cookie to crack when it came to EMDR - you need to be in touch with emotions for it to work and I was so numb for a long time). She assisted me through some hard times and helped me understand and heal in a lot of ways. I'm not totally cured or anything, but my trauma is significantly less invasive in a life changing sort of way. EMDR is truly like magic and I'm glad she knows how to use it so well. She's a great listener but knows when and how to interject and challenge me at the same time. She is very knowledgeable and picking her brain was always extremely rewarding with the kind of stuff she could teach me about relationships, people, mental health, trauma, etc. I appreciate her so much and still refer to her as the best therapist I ever had.
