Being treated with dignity and respect can help
I went to NY Pres Bklyn Meth. ER with bad shoulder pain. Dr. Torrisi, examined the shoulder and ordered x-rays. When no cracked or broken bones were found he tried to work WITH me asking about related symptoms, and explaining what they could mean. I found Dr. Torrisi to be a competent, responsible, and professional Medical Doctor, who also seemed hard working, kind and empathetic. I was given both written and verbal advice on how to handle the pain until I could see a specialist. I think the most important aspect of my visit with Dr. Torrisi was that I was treated with dignity and respect, not only by this doctor, but by his immediate team.
