If you're a veteran.... RUN. After seeing the results of my Exam I went and looked up the DBQ myself. She did not ask the questions or perform all of the tests that were on the DBQ. Flight surgeon tells me it's the worse case he's ever seen. she rates it partial and moderate after not doing the tests related to my cervical spine. Incompetent or corrupt, take your choice. Never see a PA when you need a neurologist.

Very very hostile PA. She started the video appointment aggravated and became angry that my family member, a medical professional, was there to help me with my medical concern. She was demeaning and argued with my family member over a recommendation. When I said maybe we should end this appointment because this just isn’t professional, she raised her hand and flipped her middle finger at us then ended the call. In the after care summary she wrote that my sister and I were demanding corticosteroids for my medical complaint when my sister merely suggested it as a possibility for my back inflammation. She also told me my lumbar osteoarthritis is a normal thing for a 36 year old and there’s nothing wrong with me. I am having trouble reaching her management so I am reviewing here as it seems she has a history of this.

I had an virtual appointment for acute back pain. I did not want pain medication. I told her that I needed a steroid, that is what I have taken approximately every 5 years for acute flare-ups. She told me that I did not need them. I informed her that I took them every 5 years and she could see from my last doctors visit that I was prescribed them. She indicated that she was not going to give them to me. I said that if she was not going to help me, there was no need to continue and she hung up on me. As a nurse for 40 years, this woman knew that I was in pain and frustrated, had no sympathy or empathy for me and was not listening to me. And to hang up on me was juvenile and unprofessional. I will be reporting her on Monday.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and hostile medical provider. She clearly seemed aggravated that we were taking up her time asking questions after she very abruptly told us we should not have made an appointment with her and she would not be helping us. I was shocked at her behavior and recorded her name with my phone so that I could relay this encounter with my physician. She cut the call off and then wrote in the after-care report that I ended the call when I did not. She made claims that were absolutely false and I hope there is a record of this video interaction that her supervisor can view. She was incredibly condescending and I hope this review will cause her to approach other patients in a more courteous manner.
