She listened to my history, added relevant questions to determine an appropriate direction for the evaluation. She is thorough, as well as efficient but unhurried with her questions, responses and exam.

Dr Marrotte seemed to be experienced but has a problem with attitude , she is detractive and condescending to patients , she talked down to me and doubted that I had full vision insurance despite me telling her that I did . As she asked the receptionist to verify my insurance since she didn't believe me, an elderly man using a walker entered the room and she yelled at him scornfully because his mask slipped down as he was struggling to get to a chair even though nobody else was in the waiting room and she was 15 feet away . Someone of this character should not be in a position to deal with the general public. I was insulted that she treated me as if I was mentally deficient when I have a 148 IQ which most assuredly is greater than hers.

Today was a follow up. Dr. Marrotte did a refraction to address my problems with reading. Results appeared to improve my ability to read. She also noted that my frames needed some minor adjustments which also improved my focus. Overall I would rate this visit as "excellent". Very satisfied with today's visit. I am confident the new prescription will give me a new outlook on life. Thank you Dr. Morrotte for moving to Florida.

It isn’t just about the reason for the visit, its also about the friendliness and manner. Though time was short; business was done; but there was still time for personal interaction which was intriguing our conversation.

This was a follow-up after YAG procedures. I previously saw her in April of 2019. She is very professional and has a kind manner about her.
