He saw my daughter once for a very short amount or time. Has never met me, or any other family, has never been to our home or witnessed us interacting and told my daughter she might be better off in foster care. Naturally, this terrified my daughter. Now he will not return my phone calls to help me understand the statements he made to her. Surely a doctor who has worked with children for so many years is aware of the dire state of the foster care system and how the system itself is rife with abuse and neglect. So to tell a loved, fed, cared for child, whom you essentially know nothing about, fostercare might be an option for her is revolting. Then to not return the parents calls to explain such bold statements is even more alarming. I have so many questions, of only someone could answer them.
