Could not have had less tact. Was insanely rude to me when I was sick and distraught. Forgot about me in the exam room for a long time. Long enough for me to start to cry then eventually start to sob and hyperventilate at which point I heard someone say “is there someone still in there?” “Oh yeah, she just needs a note for work” ..which I did not. She got that and then she came in and told me I was “good to go.” What happened? I went to urgent care because I needed care my primary couldn’t give (and they were out of the country) and I was not yet in an emergent state. She refused to help even though I was well within the convenient care realm. Told me to go to the emergency room even though I stated I was alone and wasn’t sure I could make it there after getting worse during the 2 hours there. ..ER told me there was no reason urgent care couldn’t help me.
