Dr. Joanna Barnett, OD

Eyedocdulles withholds pd measurements from prescriptions. I have been a long-time patient with Dr. Barnett as well as my family. I have purchased glasses from her facility in the past where pd ratings were recorded. At my annual appointment, I asked for my pd measurement because I would like the flexibility of purchasing my glasses elsewhere at a reasonable cost. I was told that by giving out the PD measurement, Eyedocdulles would liable for any mistakes that another company may make. I explained that I would not hold them liable for any mistakes that another company makes but they would not release the pd rating which is in my file. I would expect Dr. Barnett to be a doctor first and a salesperson second. Our family will no longer be patients of Dr. Barnett and her practice.

Ease of getting the appointment in an emergency, courteous staff, quick to see the Dr., who explained everything in detail that is very important to know what the problem is, state of the art equipment that made it easy to diagnose my condition.

Very thorough exam with explanations of my eye health. Very kind and efficient. Right on time and easy. Sweet personalities.

I had to wear glasses since my childhood, having high astigmatism, birth spot cataracts, close vision, dry eyes, and old vision... in the last ten years was avoiding me from clear vision. I went to different Dr.s they all told me I could never have a clear vision with all these problems! Till I find this Angel on the first visit she told me about my other health problems!! after seeing my eyes! then she prescribed me a glass that! Wow, it was the first time after long years I was able to see everything! Later I decided to do cataract surgery, yet I had to wear glasses, and I went to her again. After a couple of lenses, she found the exact lenses that made me see the world as it is!! She is my Angel and I pray for her till I am alive.

When I made the appointment I let them know that I needed to be sure that my insurance is accepted there, that I just needed my vision test for a new glasses; when I was there they made me 4 tests and after that they verified my insurance information, they found out that just covers 2 tests so I had to pay for the other two… for me was very disappointing becaus as is true that I should have known my coverage is also a fact that they should have asked me which tests do I wanted or at least explained me what they were doing they just did the tests and that’s it. they are the experts I didn’t know that they were doing special tests in me. So when I asked me to pay $60 dlls (when I could have paid 0 ) I asked why and mostly the reason was that because we did 4 test on you.then the man that was supposed to help me with the glasses he was super rude like if you are not buying an expensive one we don’t care for you. Not sure if the doctor is aware of thst

Always very thorough with the exam and explains what is observed clearly. The staff always very helpful.

Dr Joanna Barnett, was great as usual, monitoring my glaucoma, and checking my vision. The medications to lower my eye pressure were prescribed and work great.

Excellent, comprehensive exam. Explained in layman's terms in great detail. Advised of issues not mentioned by other doctors. Highly recommend her.

A valuable member of anyone's health team. She treats me for Glaucoma and insures the medicine is effective. She also asks about other health problems that might effect treatment.

Dr. Barnett was outstanding! I was in need of an annual exam and couldn't get an appointment with anyone else due to these crazy Coronavirus rules. Dr. Barnett scheduled me a same day appointment in their last hour of business for the day! When I arrived everyone was attentive and polite. Dr. Barnett took her time and thoroughly examined my eyesight and explained more to me than any optometrist in the past 23 yrs! Office was on time and pleasant. Dr Barnett was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about what she knew about my health from looking at my eyes. Wish the glasses would come Sooner- 7-10days, seems a bit long. Hopefully they will come sooner. I appreciated the discount on glasses, which was not covered by my insurance.

Very efficient and personable. She made my 11 year old feel at ease and comfortable with needing glasses for the first time. The office manager was fantastic.
