Joanna is honestly one of the best counselors that I have worked with. I have had the privilege of doing individual therapy, EMDR, and even couples counseling with her, and each experience has been incredibly positive. She’s warm, friendly, and real, making it easy to talk to her about anything. What stands out about Joanna is how incredibly responsive she is. She’s fully present in every conversation, always taking the time to listen carefully and engage in a way that shows she is right there with me. My husband also enjoys working with her and says, "She’s a delight and a really positive influence." After each session, I always feel heard, supported, and a little more whole. Thank you, Joanna!!

Met with spouse and I individually. Listened to one side only, and discounted the other completely. Diagnosed a situation without attempting to fully understand it. When read a textbook definition of an issue that fit us exactly, she disagreed that it fit without diving in to understand how or why it did. Wasn't interested in getting to the root cause of issues and only wanted to manage results.
