I gave birth in November 2021 to my first child. I had done a lot of research and decided to go with a midwife for a more natural birth. She was very pushy first and foremost. Told me (indirectly)that everything I wanted for my birth was outlandish and I had to follow her rules if I wanted her to deliver my child. The day of me being in labor she came in 3 times in a span of 12 hours I was in labor at the hospital.When it came down to actually pushing she came in once to check. The nurse and my husband did more than her. While I was actively pushing she was FALLING ASLEEP. She had left the room to go get coffee. It was 7pm at night… I could understand if it was 3am. After pushing for a little over 2ish hours she had scared my husband and I into an emergency c-section. I was very much against it. But I was terrified for my baby. Everything was going fine. No heart rate issues for either of us but still pushed me into it. I was okay with pushing longer. Very upsetting.

Joanne is Amazing. She delivered my son in 1997 and I continue to see her for my yearly screenings. She is caring and loves her work. I love seeing her, she takes the time to explain things and is compassionate!
