Jodie Gahn-Stahley, PA-C

I would not give any stars if that were an option. My husband saw her initially for back pain at a different practice 6 years ago. Things got worse despite going to PT. She wouldn't order an MRI because he didn't finish the PT (he was experiencing severe pain). After going back to her a third time she kind of had an attitude and said, 'What do you want me to do?' We ended up paying for an MRI out of pocket. He died 6 weeks after the MRI of cancer. I would not recommend her at all.

Jodie Gahn-Stahley is my PA-C at Douglas Family Medicine. I am so grateful that my chart landed in the hands of Jodie. For the first time in a long time, someone listened to my concerns, truly heard me, and assertively looked for answers. She found answers and helped me turn my health around. She sees you as a person, not just a medical case. She worked with me to find solutions that worked. She responds in a timely manner when I email her. I cannot recommend Jodie Gahn-Stahley enough!

She's been great at working with my meds and quickly finding what works best for me. I went through a number of doctors before I found Jodie. I highly recommend her!

Please tell me where Jodie is at. I used to have her but she moved from the practice she was at. I have since left that practice because she is no longer there.

We have had Jodie as our primary PA for over 10 years. She is personable, kind, caring, intelligent and has earned our complete trust. We would have no one else but her take care of our health and well-being.

She is terrible and doesn't care about her patients. Get a different job because you can't even recommend someone with THEIR insurance. Learn how to do your job or quit.

She recently moved a little out of our zip code and we are both willing to drive a little extra just to be seen by her.

I have never felt rushed by Jodie, and recommend her to all my friends and family that want a medical professional. I trust her to make the proper diagnosis, and love her “bedside” manner. I have been a patient of Jodie’s for 14 years! She is so laid back and easy to talk to (unlike a lot of doctors that I have seen over the years who are so dry and rushed!) She takes the time to really listen to my health concerns and makes me feel like she really cares about my well being. Jodie is the most amazing doc around. She not only diagnosed me with thyroid disease but she diagnosed my husband with a pituitary brain tumor that presented itself as something totally different. She always takes the time to talk and listen to our symptoms and our appointments never feel rushed because she truly cares. She is truly brilliant because she knows her stuff and she actually cares which is rare nowadays. She truly cares about her patients.

Jodie is one of the most compassionate pA I have ever visited. She is always professional and listens to me as a patient. She allows me to be proactive in my own treatment. She is amazing!

Establishing care for her to be PCP. Terrible bedside manner. Does not know how to speak to patients or their families. Rude, abrasive and does not seem to care about the patient or their life and what effect a new diagnosis might have on them. Did not take the time to explain any of the lab work or the new diagnosis. When the appointment was over she just walked out of the room.

I love her and have been seeing her for many years. Followed her when she changed practice. She also saved my life.
