Amazing!

Joelle is my counselor at SUNY ESF. She has helped me to settle into my first year at SUNY ESF. She is supportive and understanding. She makes room in her busy schedule if I'm having a difficult time. I really struggled during my first year but thanks to her I was connected to services that will help me be successful. I have been working with Joelle over the past two years. I came to her while I was on Drug Court and had recently lost custody of my children. Over the past two years, I have graduated drug court and graduated from the halfway house. I have a job, a place of my own and custody of my children. Joelle has been a continual source of support and strength. I'm very grateful for her.

I was initally mandated to treatment like most people are mandated to Family Counseling. When I first met Joelle, my goal was to just get off probation and move on with my life. Joelle understood and met me where I was at. But over time, things just clicked and I realized that I wanted more for my life. She helped me get out of a bad relationship and encouraged me to go to college. I start school at TC3 in the fall.

The staff at Family Counseling is professional and welcoming. Joelle and the medical staff have helped me transform my life. I haven't drank in a year, I got a job and have fixed my relationships with my family. It has not been an easy road but the continual support and encouragement have helped me to find hope and happiness again.

She doesn't seem like she really cares about her patients. I think she went into this field because there's a lot of job opportunities ,I don't know but I do know that she come across very arrogant and self-righteous and I won't be back . I'll find someone who's treats me with respect.
