Dr. John Marohn, OD

I’ve seen Dr. Marone on several occasions in the last two years. He is extremely knowledgeable! He is never in a hurry, he continues until he finds the best solution for your concerns. If I moved halfway across the United States, I’d still come back to see Dr. Marone.

I woke up this morning and could barely see out of my left eye. I an a type 1 diabetic of 65 years. I called Great Lakes Eye Care and I had an appointment within 20 minutes. The staff at Great Lakes couldn't have been any nicer. I first saw his tech, Bret?, who was as thorough as if he was the physician and definitely made me feel more confident. Dr. Maroon performed many test. He is very knowledgeable and calming. After a couple of hours in the office, I left with instructions and a list of medications to pick up. At discharge, I was taken out by his very sweet and competent nurse and was told how to contact the doctor if I had any questions or concerns. The person at the discharged asked me how my visit went and I told her that it was Above and Beyond. My entire visit was a blessing. Thank you, everyone!

Dr. Marohn was awesome... he was on call for the Fourth of July weekend and meet us at his office due to an emergent eye issue for my father.. He took his time and was very thorough. He is an excellent doctor an would highly recommend him for your eye care needs...
