Dr. John Massey, AUD CCC-A

A few weeks ago I went to Dr. Massey’s office to get my hearing aids to work properly. I cannot express my gratitude to him for his professionalism, knowledge, kindness, patience and for going far and beyond to make sure my devices were working properly and also to make sure the hearing aids felt comfortable and the sound was perfect according to my needs. Before going to Dr Massey I went to two other audiologists. My fantastic ENT doctor Nayak, highly recommended Dr Massey, unfortunately he was still waiting to be part of my insurance. One audiologist, in Fruitville Rd, tried to convinced me that I was as deaf as a door and I had to buy right there and right away some $6,500 hearing aids. The other audiologist in Siesta Dr. bought my hearing aids through my insurance and so I paid a little from my pocket. When I went to pick the hearing aids to her office, she had a hard time connecting them and finally she had to call the hearing aids company. She never tested if they were working properly not taught me how to use them, clean them or program them. In the meantime, fortunately Dr Massey had been accepted in my medical insurance and he so kindly called me to let me know. So, I went to see him bc I didn’t feel any difference with or without my hearing aids, there was evident that something was wrong. He took all the time in the world to reprogram the devices, explained to me everything about how and what about the devices. He retested my hearing level and as I said, he went far and beyond to make sure everything was working properly and it was comfortable for my needs. I highly recommend Dr. Massey, he is in a complete different level of any other audiologist, and believe me I had my experience before going to him. Erika Moczydlower

Dr. Massey is very knowledgeable and very nice. He actually made a house call on a Saturday to fix my hearing aid, saving my Florida vacation since I am dependent on my hearing aids and my back up pair were also not working. I recommend him without reservation!

I wouldn’t have a hearing aid without his help! Kudos, I can hear now and am have excellent care! I wouldn’t go anywhere else !

I have been wearing hearing aids for 25 years, and have seen several audiologists and ENTs throughout that time. Some were good clinically, but not personally; some were the reverse. Dr. Massey is exceptional in that he truly cares, knows his stuff, and works hard to give his patients the best possible hearing.
