They say, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." I am reflecting today on my journey over the past few years and how challenging it has been. I am also feeling profound gratitude for "calling" you to join me on my path for a little while. Your compassion and full acceptance without judgment gave me the safety I needed to finally look at shadows in my life that were profoundly dark and scary to me. And, when I looked at them, I saw myself in a new, honest, non-judgmental way; just like you saw me. Thank you John Roorda, for sharing your gift and your wisdom with me. I feel, light, and aware and tender, and strong and grounded like never before. You sir, are a rare gem.
