He was very informative about my illness and caring! I personal like a Dr that gives it to you straight

Mr Rivers was unprofessional and acted like I was a major inconvenience to him. He clearly did not care about how sick I was, and despite clearing up his mistakes in the illness history I told him, he continued to treat me based on the wrong set of facts. He acted annoyed that I was even in the office for an appointment. By contrast, all of the medical personnel in his office…nurses and the other nurse practitioners…are always compassionate and listen thoroughly in order to offer the best treatment possible. From stitches to infections, they have been great. Mr Rivers, on the other hand, does not seem to practice medicine based on facts, nor does he seem to care. I do not have confidence in his care, and I will refuse service at his office in the future if he is the provider offered.

He is very cocky. He does not talk with you, he berates you. No bedside manner at all. He really needs to work on his people skills. Family medicine west is a wonderful place full of caring people except for him. He needs to be kinder to patients or get out of the medical field.

Mr. Rivers was terribly rude, dismissive, and patronizing. Horrible experience. I will absolutely never visit this nurse practitioner again.

There are much better health-care providers at family medicine west. If you have any mental health concerns, he is very dismissive, and specifically very negligent and unprofessional in his prescription refills. I prefer the other nurse practitioners at the practice, who take mental health seriously and with respect.

Johnny is always thoughtful, patient, and addresses any concerns you may have.
