Jolena Allred, FNP

I didn’t come see her for the warm fuzzies, I came to her to get the treatment and support I needed. She has been my PCP for years and I still recommend her!

Jolena Allred has been a real help to me. She asks questions and listens carefully to the answers like a brilliant detective solving a mystery. Several months ago, she helped me resolve constant migraine. More recently, she educated me and prescribed what I needed to get well from two respiratory illnesses, one viral and one allergy asthma. She is efficient, detail oriented, and caring. I've had to go to the clinic in Taylortown on a couple of Saturdays, and they do a great job, but I much prefer seeing Jolena during her office hours because she's going to get to the root of my issues. She happens to be right down the street from my home, but I'd drive farther if I had to in order to get this kind of care.

NP Allred is curt and abrasive. While up to this point, I have taken this with a grain of salt, I have brought our PCP/client relationship to an end. How can you put your trust in someone who is demeaning and accusatory?

Doesn't give the patient a chance to explain or answer her questions. Accused patient of being anxious & switching topics. Ended up being diagnosed with giardia which was missed by Ms. Allred. Despite fever & symptoms. She believed my symptoms were psychosomatic. Stated several times she doesn't agree withspecialists for having me on certain meds which are necessary. Talks over you and automatically labels without getting to know the patient. Thankfully I found a real clinician that figured it o
