Dr. Jordan Jones, OD

This guy was so impatient and angry both times I saw him. Make your day a little better and find a nicer doctor.

Dr. Jones told me in the middle of my exam that the next time I schedule an appointment I should tell the doctor to perform a dilated eye exam (DFE). I ask if that is something I need to inform the receptionist about when making my appointment, and he said just to tell the provider. He then went on to say it just allows them to get a better field of view of the eye. Apparently, I didn't pick up the hint that he wanted me to ask for this, or he just didn't feel like offering the exam. I say this, because in my after visit notes he stated that I deferred the DFE, and that I was educated on its importance. If it is that important, and important enough to mention in the notes, then I would expect him to extend the offer to perform the exam and not just push it off to my next appointment, hoping I remember to make some special request. To me, Dr. Jones comes off as not advocating for his patients' best interest/health.
