I recently suffered a quad/knee injury and had to have surgery. The employees at Tier 1 and nurse practitioner Joseph "Chris" Archer took great care in my medical needs and comfort levels. Mr. Archer was very knowledgeable of the treatment and rehab I needed to get me back on track to full recovery. Treatment and rehab took 6 months and I finally recovered. Joseph Archer has been our doctor for our children, wife and myself for at least 20 years. He always takes the time to explain the medical condition and procedure he will be doing. Mr. Archer always takes time during appointment to answer any questions or concerns we might have. He always has a smile on his face and very friendly. I would recommend Mr. Archer to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Archer did a great job on our son. He was compassionate and caring for our son who needed stitches. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. i have seen him for both shoulder and back issues. The first shoulder injections last two years. They are very timely and the staff is wonderful. i was in within a few minutes of my appointment time. This is the best place in the upper Cumberland. Mike T

Dr. Archer took care of my son who had an unusual accident needing stitches in the end of his finger. Dr. Archer was calculating, thorough and EXTREMELY patient with a very scared, screaming and wiggly 7 year old. The stitching was done well, the healing was pure and the wound was cleaned so nicely my son never even took any pain meds. The followup and stitch removal were quick, and again with patience and empathy with my son's agnst, Dr. Archer took great care with such a tiny finger.

Chris (Joseph) Archer has been very helpful and knowledgeable on numerous occasions when my boys have broken numerous bones. Our family has a lot of confidence in Chris and the work he does. He is our favorite practictioner at Tier 1.

Dr.Archer has always been available to me and my family when we needed his medical help! Tore my Achilles & was seen next day for consult; had surgery the following day. Although Dr. McKinney performed my surgery, I primarily dealt with Chris (Joseph) Archer, NP during my pre and post-op visits. He was very knowledgeable regarding my diagnosis, explained what my options would be based on my goals which were to return to high level competitive athletics. He developed an effective plan, was there in office or by phone to answer any questions & guided me post-op. I'm back to competing!

The staff is good but dr archer just comes across as a jerk. Just needs a better personality.
