UNDERWHELMED
Dr. Goldman performed 3 surgeries in 3 months on my lower back. The first went great but I re-injured the herniated disk 3 weeks after. Second surgery went well but approximately two weeks later, the incision began to have fever and felt like a 3" blister. On my post op visit I was scheduled to see Joseph William Clemmons, PA-C. I described problems...feverish at incision, red, swollen & felt like fluid beneath area similar to a blister. I expressed concern about pain worsening. He examined the incision & I'll NEVER FORGET HIS WORDS after he said "well I'm UNDERWHELMED". I trusted his diagnosis went about my life until the pain was so extreme that my husband had to give me pain pill an hour b4 helping me sit up in bed. To keep from screaming so loud my kids woke up scared. Unable to live with the severity of pain husband had me see Dr. Goldman only took me serious once I described the pain & he ordered MRI & saw massive infection req. 3rd surgery, awful pain & relearning walking.
