The single worst theripist I have ever seen.
If you have "regular" problem, maybe Joe would be a good fit for you. If you have a real mental health problem & are ready and willing to do the work, I would not recommend Joe. After sharing my trauma Joe completely withdrew from my sessions, almost not speaking at all. It got so bad I had to contact him outside of therapy & advocate for myself that I needed him to interact with me more. Joe, on his own, never brought up or interacted with my trauma again. He also never communicated he could not treat my trauma. I was doing all the work myself. I was left to discover my diagnosis on my own while Joe held sessions & didn't do anything. Joe abandoned me, at least emotionally. Joe & Lyra do not care about me or my mental health. I know I am doing the hard work & I deserve better than Joe & Lyra. I also know that you, a person who got all the way to the end of this review, a person who is doing work & research on which therapist to choose, you deserve better too.
