I saw joy a handful of times but she was quite helpful and concerned with my situation. She had empathy, a thoughtful approach and was very hands-on in terms of figuring out solutions for my situation. I would have totally mistake her as a PHD, she is that good. I will say I do not like Dakota Counseling, so that was partly why I stopped seeing her. But I think she is great.

I provide individual, family and group counseling for adults, adolescents and children. I facilitate groups in the areas of grief, DBT, smoking cessation and weight loss. I have been trained in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy. I also utilize person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
