I had to see Judy because there was a 5 month wait to see Dr. Lott. Judy showed no compassion for me during my appointments with her. She would not agree to do the Ashton Protocol. She wanted to prescribe other meds for me to help me with a benzo taper. I am a survivor of severe childhood trauma. That did not matter to her. She prescribed a very fast tapering schedule for me. If you are thinking of seeing her, ask her how much of her 28 year RN experience is with psychiatric care. When I saw her in 2022-2023, she told me that she had only worked in psychiatry for 3 years. I switched to another practice and did a successful taper.

Judith is a smart cookie! She takes her time to listen and collaborate on my mental illness recovery. For someone that's been mentally ill for decades, and have taken ALL the meds, I figured I knew a thing or two about what would work for me... I wasn't fully happy at 300mg, so I asked her if I could bump it up to 400mg. That just made me agitated. Then it was Judith that suggested if going up isn't good, how about adjusting down to 200mg. Turns out, after two decades, that's the first time I heard that, and so I did take her advice. It's been four months at the 200, and I've never felt better!
