Julia Paul, LCSW

Julia Paul may be playful with the kids, but she has no sense of treating parent in a respectful manner. When parent shares their insights, she diffuses it as nothing serious and just a one off. Her EQ is very low and she misses out on the fundamentals, like validating what is reported, listen, etc. She jumps to conclusion and has no analytical mind. Julia is not able to adjust her communication style between parent and child, i.e. talks to parent like to a child. She is not able to articulate therapy goals nor any specifics she is working on with your child. I asked her these questions multiple times and never did I get an answer other than 'oh we just play and then your child can share what's going on'. It is unfortunate because CMHS has some very talented professionals.
