Julia Swafford, PA-C

Julia Swafford is one of the best medical care providers I’ve had. She makes me feel seen and heard and she excels at communication. She includes me as a partner in managing my care. As a Rheumatologist, she’s an excellent diagnostician. During a recent hip replacement, while in the midst of a Lupus flare, she worked closely with the ortho surgeon before, during and after to ensure I had a good outcome. I highly recommend Julia Swofford at Bronson Rheumatology.

I have been going to Julia for several years. Every time I arrive, at the office I am greeted with a Hello and a Smile. After you are registered you will be called back by Erica. Erica is very pleasant and makes you feel like she is happy to see you. Julia is very understanding and always takes her time to listen to you. She treats you like a person and not just another number like other offices do. Julia will be straight forward with you and tell you exactly what the problem is. She will do everything she can to help you. I highly recommend Julia as a Rheumatologist.

Julia was very pleasant but she said what was told to me by 2 of my Drs., for 2 different things, was incorrect, and her reasoning didn’t make sense to me from what I was previously told. . I think my 2 other Drs. know what they’re talking about

I am currently a Medical Assistant extern who has worked with Julia Hoekstra multiple times. I find Julia to be very motivated, thorough, and extremely patient. Her positive attitude makes communication easy. I would highly recommend her after seeing her work ethic.
