I had been experiencing uncontrollable shakes since day 4 postpardum. Three days later I had a fever of 101.5 & called the triage nurse. Julie took 2.5 hours to call me back. I kept having to call the triage nurse. When she finally called, she said "I'm not convinced its fever since I was under blankets. I was so scared I had a blood infection & wanted to get tested. She said the blood lab was closed Sunday and Monday for memorial day weekend so the earliest I could come in was Tuesday. It was only when I mentionI also might have a UTI that she let me come in for a urine sample. When I got to WeTu triage my fever was up to 103.5. The RN IMMEDIATELY drew blood & said good thing you didn't wait an hour. Julie comes in & says "well turns out you did have a fever". To make matters worse she told the RN not to test my blood for sepsis and started me on IV antibiotics right away. Now I can't get tested until after they're done. My husband is pissed & terrified. Stay away from this woman.

My family and I had our 2nd baby, and Julie Bell was our midwife. She was not only condescending to my partner, she woke him by kicking his pull out sofa bed thing when labor become more active (unacceptable), I also noticed that she consistently talked down to the two nurses who took amazing care of us and were in the room way more than she was throughout the night. She refused their opinion on positions, care, or listening to the babies heart beat. I personally enjoyed the sound, and she continually forced the nurses to turn it down or even off. I personally love the office, but I would never have another child delivered by this midwife. This is a far stretch from what we experienced the first time with our midwives.
