Julie Bohack, APN

Julie was our worst experience by far. She saw my elderly mom for about three months. I heard someone recommending her at my hair salon. I don't go to NP or PA (only for sutures) but what the heck, I'll give her a try. Long story short, she is obsesses with referring to specialists. One thing she did so wrong this one time, when she should have, didn't receommend a specialist. My elderly mom had severe edema in her left leg for about two months. She sent her for an echo. Ending of the story, if it weren't for Dr. Palecki, nephrologist, she would not be here today. Upon his visit, he noticed her severely swollen foot and wanted to know who saw it and what was done about it. I told him Julie Bohack! Immediately , he sent us to the ER where they found, through ultrasound, a huge blood clot in her right leg. She was immediately put on blood thinners. Dr. Palecki mentioned to us the severe consequences we really didn't want to know. She is waaaay too interested to sending you to specialist. But in this case she was soooo negligent. She never calls back with results. It's only when I called her to say the serious mistake she made and we, of course would never returned, she left me immediately a message on "I want to go through her test results". Too late and she knew it. Also never picked up on my mom's lung nodule, which turned out to be malignant!

I was very impressed with Julie. She was not at all like the review I just read. She listened, reviewed my file since I am a patient of a doctor in the same practice and made a diagnosis that made sense to me. The results of her diagnosis will take several days but in no way was her attitude or professionalism as outlined in review #1.

Julie Bohack, APN in the new Walk IN.. STAY AWAY!! Very impersonal, does not make you feel comfortable at all. She shows no compassion at all for her patients. Ask for Heather only
