Julie Roman

I seen many therapists during my life and it was always the same. This is the first time therapy has made sense and Julie has helped me work through a lot of hardships that started when I was a kid. She taught me ways to to understand and deal with my feelings. I finally don't feel stuck and excited for my future. In case you read these, thank you so much!

Had an apt. w/Ms. Roman. Spent and hour and a half pouring out my soul believing that as a therapist she was listening w/out judgement and would be able to help me with my extreme anxiety, depression and PTSD among other issues. I'd like Ms. Roman to know that she could have stopped the consultation/conversation anytime and let me know my issues were out of her league and she would not be able to help me. Instead she let me go on discussing things I don't discuss (for fear of judgement) and leading me to believe we were forming a bond and that I could trust her. When our conversation ended I was feeling hopeful. A day or so later Ms. Roman emailed me that she had consulted with her colleagues and in fact would not be able to help me. My anxiety has spiked, my PTSD has been triggered and I am left with the feeling that I am beyond help, I shared too much with a "stranger" and that I have been violated. Ms. Roman did more harm than good.
