Justin Cottrell, PA-C

He was very abrupt and defensive. Didn't look at my me sitting in the chair when he walked in. Didn't want to answer questions and questioned "are you a doctor"? He doesn't know who I am or what I do. The truth is I have more education and more expereince in healthcare than he does. He's defensive and incompetent. Anyone who knows anything about what he's prescribing can see through it. He's scary and I'd avoid him at all costs.

Had my first visit with PA Cottrell and wanted to address a number of derm issues I had. He was on time and visit was quick, but pretty thorough. He was no nonsense for sure but I felt that he was very knowledgeable. I asked a few questions that he answered but did feel that for a first visit, it was pretty rushed. Office staff helpful and friendly. Was only 3 days to get an appointment and one month follow up visit scheduled before leaving.

I like the doctor, but the office supporting him is terrible. First a problem with the time I was given for my appointment. Took two phone calls with a 15 minute wait to straighten that out. Completely unapologetic about the mix up on their end. Now a problem with the prescription they electronically sent to my pharmacy. They sent my prescription from 2 weeks ago and not my new prescription, two phone calls later still haven’t fixed anything. I do not have my prescription and they could not care less.

THERE IS NO OTHER DERMATOLOGIST I WOULD TAKE MY DAUGHTER TO AS LONG AS JUSTIN IS AVAILABLE. THIS MAN SAT DOWN, AND SPOKE TO MY DAUGHTER ON HER LEVEL. SHE HAS SEVERE ACNE AND HE UNDERSTANDS AND WAS EXCITED TO HELP HER ACHIEVE CLEAR SKIN. IF HE GOES ON VACATION OR LEAVES THIS OFFICE, WE WILL WAIT TILL HE IS AVAILABLE, WE WILL NEVER SEE ANYONE ELSE AS LONG AS IT IS GODLY POSSIBLE. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, FOR BEING PROFESSIONAL AT YOUR JOB! NOT EVERYONE CAN SAY THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL.

All the Medical Staff was so friendly, courteous, professional & prompt. After seeing Dr Cottrell I felt so relieved that he knew exactly how to treat my issue & I left knowing that if I had any questions I could call.

From check-in and the consultation/treatment to check-out was smooth and trouble free

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any Doctors appointment, my appointment was for 8:45 I arrived 15 minutes early, I was given the tablet to check in and it was very easy and convenient. After finishing the check in process I was called to the back in maybe 5 minutes, the nurse spoke with me briefly and the Doctor came in and checked me out and explained everything throughly and made a plan for treating my condition and I was on my way.

Justin Cottrell and staff are professional and informative. They're friendly, supportive, and always take the time to answer my questions.

1st time visit and late for appointment., which I hate to be late for anything. The staff and PA Cottrell made me feel welcome.

Been calling the office for 4 days, all you can do is leave a message, no one ever returns your call. My daughter has passed her 7 day limit, after completing ALL requirements, to receive acutane prescription. Since no one ever returns calls, have to assume to start all over again. Do you think insurance will continue to approve payment of tests due to physician's delay?

What a "Great Person." He knew exactly what my problem was the minute I told him, and did exactly what he had to do, And did it. His personality rates 1000% in my opinion. He knows exactly what you're talking about, and prescribes the correct meds or creams. Also is very personable. Happy that I found him, because I am on an HMO right now, and I have not been happy lately because the last one I went to didn't even look to see why I was there..... Hoping to switch this October....but can still go to him.....

I have been using Mr Cottrell for over a year to treat many sun damaged areas on my head and face. I am very satisfied with his treatments, but mostly his 'bedside' manner. He has a great personality and his assistants mirror that with their friendliness.
