Was very detail orientated and asked the right questions during first meeting. Was pretty spot on the diagnosis. Really appreciate him explaining his thought process and the rationale behind the meds. Didn't really want to be on meds, but they absolutely helped. Did take a couple of visits to get the dosage just right.

Fantastic communicator and extremely knowledgeable

My son was referred to "Dr." J but the clinician knew nothing about him at the intake assessment. My son was unable to speak for himself so I spoke for him, and within minutes "Dr." J. told me he had a permanent serious disorder. Dr. J's prescription was wrong and my son had to be readmitted to a psych hospital the next day to receive the proper treatment. "Dr." J's response to everything I said was "Gotcha Gotcha Gotcha Gotcha Gotcha Gothca." Even after I mentioned to my son that "Dr." J. said "Gotcha" a lot, he continued saying he repeatedly. He did not listen but said "I've seen this many times before," meaning he operates via confirmation bias. He is a dangerously incompetent mental health care provider and I caution everyone to avoid consulting him for treatment of serious mental illness.
