This Nurse Practitioner is a joke! I had an appointment scheduled on 2-18 and showed up 10 minutes late due to a ride situation from the medical facility I’m staying at. I was turned away while the NP Kalyn sat and talked to co-workers. Had to reschedule for 2-21 at 8:30am. Bus was delayed so I arrived at 8:35am. Was immediately told Kalyn would not see me. I requested to speak with her briefly to understand what next steps were as I just wanted a referral for an endoscopy. She refused to speak with me briefly but sat at the back desk looking at me and laughing. She had her nurse assistant come out and proceed to share my medical history-diagnosis with me in front of 5 other individuals in the waiting room. Very embarrassing!“The relationship that develops between the provider and patient is what drives me most. I want the patient to feel they can trust me to help guide them with their healthcare decisions.” - Kalyn R. Hafemann, PAYeah right! Practice what you preach!

I was struck by her care and interest and open mind. She asked good questions and took the time to listen carefully. As a result I opened up to further questions to explore which now, 6 months later, have finally led me to discover an easy way to manage my symptoms.

Very easy to talk to and great bedside manner.
