Karen Anderson, APRN

Karen works with my therapist to make sure my medications are effective. She is a scientist at heart, and stays well informed about the constantly changing world of Mental Health Medicine. She takes a caring, holistic view of my care, and I am lucky to be a patient.

She is a great listener and works with you to find the best path forward. She is kind and thorough, and is very giving of her time.

Karen is a great practitioner. She is quick to respond to all communication. She is caring and listens to my concerns before figuring out ways to help. I have been seeing Karen for over a decade, since I was a teenager and now I’m in my 30s. She’s helped me through so many different life changes.

I’ve been seeing Karen for 3 years and she has been great with helping me maintain my treatment and keeping me on track with the right type of medication. She takes the time to listen and offers her expertise where needed. For me, it was with understanding my lab results and what not to over concern myself with.I will miss Karen as I have to switch providers due to my new insurance. I highly recommend her and give her 5 stars without a doubt.

I have seen Karen for nearly 15 years. She has spent countless hours understanding my mindset and helping me navigate new and changed medications over the years. She has coached me through some of the most painful moments in my life, working with me to overcome agoraphobia and a manic state when I first met her, divorce, and remarriage. She helped me to navigate two pregnancies on meds that were impacted by PPD, so much loss, waves of grief, teenage S.A., anxiety attacks, neurodivergence, and a very toxic family. Quite frankly, I'm not sure I would still be alive if it weren't for her compassion, thoroughness, and willingness to give me a kick in the butt when I needed it.I'm moving out of state next month and had my last call with her this week. We both cried because 15 years is a long time to see the same provider, and we've been through so much together. She's certainly set a high bar for my next provider to meet. 10 stars for Karen!
