Karen Cease

What a great, warm, wonderful grief counselor. She said things that helped me right away. She helps me make sense of things going on in my life and loss, affirms my emotions and belief system, and helps me make sensible decisions. Thank you, Karen.

I have been to Karen on three separate occasions and am currently seeing her now. I can tell you that each time it's been the best experience, which is why I'm back! I never had to wait long to see her! She's open, non-biased, and most of all makes me feel like she gets me. I'd only wished I would have been able to keep seeing her (insurance problems) because it's been the greatest help. I've told friends about her and they feel the same. So happy to be back with her and working on me!

A great counselor!!! I had seen Karen for a few months to sort out some personal issues and was quite pleased with my end results. Karen was professional, a great listener and very knowledgeable. She helped tremendously to put my life back on the right track. I have recommended her to others! Thank you once again, Karen.

Went to her a few years ago for help with depression. She was very scattered. Listened to me for 10 minutes. Asked me few questions. Then sent me on my way w/ handouts to read. This was my session. Fast forward a few years later. I have new health insurance and decide to find a therapist. I don’t know how, but I selected her again. As I get to the office, I realize it as soon as I saw her. Told her the same issues. And she hands me the same handouts to go home to read. I left ASAP.

I was a patient of Karen’s over a year ago for approximately 3 months. I am writing this review now because with her counseling my approach to relationships has greatly improved and remains now for over a year. She quickly assessed my issues and always said the right things and would give me appropriate paperwork to take home to remind me what she advised. She empowered me in many ways and as a result I am more confident, more powerful, and less stressed personally and professionally.

Very professional great therapist. I've been seeing Karen Cease for over a year and a half best therapist I've ever been to. I have PTSD very bad and loss of two parents in 2016 I was there caregiver and they live with me for 10 years. She got me through a lot of bad times.

Extremely rude. I'm a 21 year old seeking help and called. Got thrown around 3 different times when they didn't want to speak to me. Once I got to talk to Karen, she corrected me for making a mistake in my speech, then asked why I called. I asked if she was taking new patients and went on to explain how I thought she'd be a good fit, she says, "I'm going to have to stop you right there, what insurance do you have?" I told her, and she said, "sorry...don't take that, goodbye." and hangs up on me.
