This doctor is the ONLY reason I stay at WSMC. Dr. Lee is by-far the best doctor the facility has ever had, and hands down the most thorough and caring doctor I've seen. I have recommended several friends to her, and they have each shared how impressed they have been with her as well. There are a few great doctors left, she's one of them. Highly recommend if you want an honest, professional, competent doctor!

Having had good care through WSMC Penn Valley for several years, Karen Lee replaced my former provider and I was excited to have a female health provider. Much to my shock and surprise, in our very first meeting, she consistently interrupted me when I was answering the questions that she was posing, challenged my diagnosis from a speech pathologist, UC Davis Medical and my neurologist; specialists that have documented my medical challenges, refused to fill out any DSS paperwork as she doesn't have the right account with DSS and needed me to get her the paperwork and then dropped me because I very politely told her that I had to leave in the middle of our intake interview as I was so shocked and distressed at her behavior towards me. Due to cognitive/speech issues due to a brain injury, I was unable to contend with her interrogation about a years-long medical condition, verified by multiple specialists. I am stunned at her treatment of me and cannot recommend her to anyone.
