Dr. Karen Skvarna, OD

I saw Dr. Skvarna to followup on a prescription from another provider. The new prescription gave me blurry long distance vision while correcting vision at about 20 feet. She defended the original prescription, attacked the manufacturer of my lenses, and refused to answer questions I had about how my vision is so different at these distances. Her only answer was '20 feet equals visual infinity' and told me to do my research on the internet. I have never seen such a disrespectful health care provider in my life.

This is the first time I have ever had a on line follow up . I really appreciate your interest in me and my sight. I highly recommend Dr Skvarna and Harvard Eye.

Excellent first appointment

Dr. Skvarna has helped me significantly with my problematic dry eye syndrome. She is caring and knowledgeable and spends time with me.

I was seen and given medical care within a week of my eye illness. Dr. Karen Skvarna, OD & her staff addressed my eye illness immediately. The immediate medications were given to me while my prescriptions were being filled helped/relieved me tremendously. It has been 7 days with medications and the itchy, sandy, redness, and headaches are gone. Feel a lot better.

I have been working with Dr. Skvarna to correct my dry eye. My eyes are doing great and I am able to wear contact lenses again. Very good doctor, always a pleasure to see her.
