I met with Karen Steele several times following the loss of my late wife, until I moved out of the Morganton area. I enjoyed all of my sessions with her - she really helped me and gave me homework - looking back, all of these exercises were very helpful. I am thankful for Ms. Steele's help.

I live in Atlanta and love our online video sessions using Skype. Karen is a highly professional, dedicated therapist who always strives to address the underlying causes of trauma and PTSD. She has helped me live my best life and improve my professional/personal relationships. I would recommend her to professional people seeking to alleviate stress and improve interpersonal skills. Our Skype sessions have worked out great. She doesn't waste time getting the heart of the matter; she seeks to help her clients move on with their lives in a positive way.

Have been seeing Karen for years now. Came in with severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD from childhood. More recently dealt with sexual assault and the fallout from that. Karen was there every step of the way. She is extremely patient, and is willing to work with her patients on payments, scheduling, and their needs. She has truly changed my life for the better. Went from dropping out of college, agoraphobia, and near suicide to going back to college, living on my own, and feeling “normal” and being able to control my emotions when I don’t. Cannot recommend her enough. Just be sure that you’re ready to be helped before you see any mental health provider or it will not work. The will to be well is just as important as the health provider.
