Something has changed
Something has changed. I, a retired APRN, have seen Karen for many years and have found her caring and helpful. Today she seemed abrupt, eager to finish the appointment, reviewed my meds by saying 'Do you want to make any changes,' gave a partial physical exam, didn't address a referral she had given me for a specialist, and didn't address screenings such as colonoscopy or bone density or immunizations. I wonder if there is pressure from above to be brief, to see many patients on time since reimbursements may be small. So sad.

I have been with this practice for years and the care that is given becomes less with each visit. I requested a different doctor for this visit due to issues last year, but was placed with the same one I am trying to change from.
