Terrible experience
Following hospital stay at Weill Cornell for brain surgery and acute rehab, my husband was referred to Kari White for an outpatient urology appt. As a result of her actions, my husband ended up in the emergency room the following morning and was admitted to the hospital for several days to recover from the damage done. We knew we were in trouble within 30 minutes of leaving her office with excessive bleeding/clots. Two urgent calls to her went unanswered, and only after the third when I refused to hang up until she took the call, did she respond. We returned to her office, she irrigated him and reinserted the catheter we had visited her to remove and sent us home. By morning, we were racing to the emergency room, my husband in extreme pain. We left this appointment with my husband’s condition worsened rather than improved - an unnecessary and unfortunate setback to my husband’s overall recovery and treatment plan.
