Dr. Katherine Wilson, DPT

I had 6 physical therapy sessions with Katherine Wilson so far at Hospital for Special Surgery and experienced relief from intense pain even after the first session. She's on top of the precise exercises needed for each problem (and perfected them herself so illustrates them well), and points out what her patients are doing right and what needs to be corrected for optimal results. She's so nice and friendly and truly interested in her patients, it makes a huge difference. Extremely accommodating. She's a positive and affirming person by nature and gives a lot of positive feedback. It's not for nothing that she's the manager of the HSS orthopedic physical therapy center as well as a hands on PT. She shares her knowledge instinctively and wants to help. Extremely dedicated and sincere. She's also modest and I think underestimates how significant a role she plays for her patients. I observe her having a positive effect on everyone she talks to. You'll be lucky if she is your PT.
