It has been a few years since I had seen Kate, although I do think about her and the help and advice she had provided for me, and at times for my son. I 'Will Not' speak negatively about therapist Kate Kennedy, and I definitely cannot understand how anyone could. She took a ( let's say ) complicated, broken person, and made a Man..someone whom looks into the mirror, and the person staring back Admires, Appreciates, and is Proud As Hell as to whom this Person, Man, and HUSBAND ( yes Kate, husband ) had become... I 'CANNOT' thank this wonderful therapist, woman, and MOM enough.Kate....I Miss You, 'Thank You', and Respect You, not just for all the help you've given others, but for the challenging, great work you have done for me!! 'CHAZ'

Katy has been so kind and nice to me and I feel as if tho shes actually listening I also feel like she understands what it is i'm going through she makes me feel like i'm at home when im in her office speaking about my problems 5/5 star rating on katy I recommend going to this kind heart-ed soul

I’ve never written one of these but I feel this needs to be said. DO NOT GO TO THIS THERAPIST IF YOU ARE DISABLED. I was chastised, shamed, and questioned for almost an entire session for being unable to afford a full time caregiver and struggling with the complicated system of trying to have one paid for by the state. Katy didn’t care about my increasing distress nor did she notice or address when I dissociated for the remainder of the session. That was my final session with her. I was humiliated by someone I went to for help—someone who KNEW I had trauma from previous therapists. She was incredibly callous and judgmental about my situation and made no effort to help. This aside, she was a poor listener and rarely seemed in tune with my or my partner’s needs. It was constantly explaining the same thing again and again. I only had four sessions with Katy, possibly the last time I will ever try therapy thanks to the re-opened trauma. Avoid this prejudiced person.
