In the time I was seeing her she had me on so many different medications, changing them constantly! Last resort was putting me on a very high dose of lithium and now I have CKD!!!

I love Katie so much! She genuinely cares about her patients and doesn’t just throw random scripts at you, she gets to know you to figure out what will work best for you. She really listens and doesn’t judge. She even recommended therapy after prescribing me medication because she doesn’t believe in just meds to fix us. She’s genuinely a kind person and an amazing provider. She was the first provider to ever explain to me how my anxiety disorder works and validated all of my emotions. Love her!!!

She’s such a good person. She’s helped me through some really hard times and helped me see I don’t have to keep living in the past.

She is caring, listens, takes her time and does not just throw medications at you. She treats you like a person.

My visit was great, i called to set up an appointment office staff was very helpful, very sweet made sure i had everything filled out correctly.My service with Ms Katie was great, Its like she was a long lost best friend i found again.If i ever need anything shes there.Thank you and the Great staff You guys have on board with you all.

Not a good doctor. Does not care about your problems. And does not care about your life. Also the staff there is very mean and constantly talk behind patients backs. They are very unprofessional. And the worst experience of my entire life. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I've been seeing Ms. Porche for almost a year now and I can't thank her enough. My last provider had me on so many medications and I was groggy all the time. Katie took the time to listen to my concerns and helped get me on the right medications, plus she cut down my medications by more than half of what I was taking prior. I've felt more clear and alert than I ever had in the last few months. Can't say enough

Katie Porche is mostly friendly and explains well. However, the staff don't keep track of payments and appointments. I was dropped from an appointment without any notice due to a "non-payment" that I had in fact paid. Due to this oversight I had to meet with Katie Porche in an emergency meeting while sick. She was very rude and also told me that if I wanted a certain medicine "I could get it from somebody else". I was floored. Even if she would disagree on providing a certain medication, what kind of healthcare provider tells their patient to get medicines elsewhere?

Katie is a wonderful woman!!! She is a the best person I have seen regarding my mental health. I have been treated with respect with every visit. She is a very caring woman and a great listener. I struggle with anxiety and she helped me to get my medication right and I have never felt better.

I misdiagnosed by Katie & put on a SSRI med that I should have never been prescribed. I had horrible side effects. She said they would go away after a few months & that she would add mood stabilizers. 7 months later, I could not take it anymore and went to an Int Medicine dr & he was horrified at the meds I was taking, the severity of the symptoms, &that I was not taken off these meds sooner. I felt like Katie wanted to overmedicate me with meds I did not need. I have severe anxiety and getting a refill of my anti-anxiety med was a headache. She wanted me to wean off of my anxiety medication & would decrease my dosage on prescription each time I'd go in and without telling me until I'd find out when I went to pick up my prescription. Also, it would take 5-7 days to refill anti-anxiety meds. Overall, I deeply regret that I chose her to oversee my mental health needs, as it was one of the worst experiences of my life and took so much time for me to recover from it.

Katie is a sweet lady; I've worked with her for a little over a year now. While she is sweet, she is also forgetful and the staff at her office is absolutely HORRIBLE. I've been tolerant of a lot of minor inconveniences until now. After an appointment of mine was cancelled by her and her staff over a $20 balance that I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT. I called to find out why my appointment was cancelled, and they said to me "I don't know, there are no notes in here". I asked them to reschedule my appointment and the lady I talked to said someone would have to call me back to do that. After nobody called back 2 days later, I called again. I left a voicemail, no returned call. After A WEEK I finally got someone to reschedule my appointment after I have been unmedicated with a dangerous mental health condition for over a week. I think this is negligent and as a mental health provider she should be ashamed of her staff for handling the situation this way.

I LOVE Mrs. Katie!! I have NEVER had an issue with her listening and understanding. My medication is a controlled stimulant, it cannot be autofill, but I simply call every month for my refill and it is ready the same afternoon! She is the sweetest!!

She treated me like a drug addict. She changes prescription with out consulting with the patient.

Horrible. Katie is highly incompetent and unwilling to help. She takes forever to answer an email and when she does, she is RUDE. Melissa Guilbeau in her office regulates everything and is heartless. Katie is useless and not helpful. She does know medicine from a hole in the ground. Can't get away from her fast enough.

Katie is incompetent. She is not very willing to help and is way too conservative in her approach. This is mostly thanks to the Melissa Guilbeau who is awful and rude. Katie is not very well versed in new medications and therefore is not willing to try many new things. She won’t respond to emails but WILL charge full price for a 5 minute video call. Firing her today.

Katie is rude and unwilling to help. She won’t answer emails and charges full price of course for a 5 minute phone consultation. She is dangerously conservative, mostly due to the useless Melissa Guilbeau. She either prescribes the bare minimum or tries to put you on lithium. She is not well versed in medications and doesn’t try anything new. Getting the hell out of here ASAP.

Don't even bother. Katie herself is overwhelmingly average, but she is extremely irresponsible and does not refilled important prescriptions without being reminded. It's so weirdly unprofessional. Her staff are some of the cruelest, cold-hearted people I have ever encountered, especially Ariel at her Laureville office. I truly do not think that any of them should work with mentally ill patients, or just people in general. I definitely wouldn't trust them with my dog. Mellisa Guilbeau is nasty and maybe evil. I sometimes I wonder if she's in this profession because she wants to harm mentally ill people. Just save your time and energy and go somewhere else.

Katie herself was quite nice, but she didn’t do an in-depth analysis of my symptoms. The real problem is her staff. They sincerely don’t care about anything and seem that they don’t know that they’re working with mental health patients, with whom it is essential to get medications to on time. Katie Porche perscribed medicine haphazardly, and I personally feel that she doesn’t care about me personally at all. She’s also TERRIBLY late to our appointments, ranging from 20-an hour late to every appointment we’ve had. I’m trying my best to get out of this office ASAP. DO NOT COME HERE.
